This will eventually be a monograph on the genus Teagueia, with a full discussion of the twenty or so new species that I and my students have discovered over the last three years in the Baños area where I live. This will take a while. Meanwhile here is a collage of thirteen of the new species, in their correct relative sizes. This is perhaps the most exciting and unexpected plant radiation known from Ecuador, surpassing even the famous Scalesia radiation of the Galapagos in terms of number and concentration of species. Stay tuned. Meanwhile read the story of the discovery of these species by clicking here.
