Sumaco-Galeras National Park (460 km N of Tapichalaca)

Form E from the Galeras Mountains.
Lateral view of Form E from Galeras.
The Galeras Mountains, just south of Volcan Sumaco, are poorly known peaks rich in new orchid species. However, their Lepanthes flora is depauperate, because they just barely reach good elevations for Lepanthes. I only found one form of L. nummularia there, and it is the same as Form E from Banos, La Bonita and Paute-Mendez.
